Mindset is Everything

If you are a parent, you know how busy things can get. There are so many things that you probably want to do, but cannot figure out a way to make time for them. That’s why I am writing this article, 4 things you don’t have time for as a busy mom, but I am also providing solutions! Check them out:

Self-Care

Let’s be honest: self-care as a mom is really hard. When they are little, you feel like they absolutely need you every second of the day and when they get a little older, you are more than likely running around from school to activity to dinner to bedtime, etc. No matter what stage of motherhood you are currently in, there never seems to be enough time (and energy) to go around! When you think about your priorities each day and work on your to-do list, making time for self-care probably falls near the very bottom of your list. Do know that if you do not take time for yourself, you are most definitely doing more harm than good. You might think that you are putting everyone else first and that’s what ‘needs’ to happen, but you’re wrong. Stress, exhaustion, burnout, illness (and more), can take more of a toll when you are not getting what you need. If you are not prioritizing your health, then you could get sick more frequently. This is just one out of many reasons why you need to implement self-care as a mom each and every day. It doesn’t matter whether you carve out a few minutes or an entire day – whatever you do is great, just make sure to focus on it. Read my post about how I so self-care HERE.

Deep Cleaning

This pretty much goes hand in hand with the above paragraph. You are busy. You are stressed. You have a lot on your plate. Your home probably only gets the very basic clean once or twice a week. Who has time to clean behind the couch, under the bed, or in the back of closets? A house cleaner! Sometimes, it can be hard to spend money when you can do something yourself, but how many times have you been stressed out about cleaning lately? If someone else can take that stress away from you, it is 1000% worth it. I love using Grove Collaborative for great non-toxic cleaning supplies, and I always leave supplies out just in case whoever we hire doesn’t use non-toxic cleaners. I know maybe at this point with COVID-19, you might be extra cautious to have someone in your home (I know I am) but make sure that you ask what their COVID precautions are before you hire them and then plan accordingly.

Home Improvements

Home improvements have a tendency to get not only expensive but time-consuming, as well. Most companies do not like to make it easy (or quick) for you, unfortunately, but I found a company that makes it affordable, easy, and just super simple. Click Countertops, based out of Alpharetta, GA, provides Alpharetta GA quartz countertops, without the excessive amount of time, money, or stress. They make it easy for even the busiest person to get new, beautiful countertops at a fraction of the price. They come to you, so you never have to take the time to visit a showroom (amazing!). They will also save you countless hours on research. By offering only pre-fixed material options that include the season’s top sellers, their model removes becoming inundated by too many selections. Overall, a company such as Click Countertops makes it extremely easy for busy parents to get home improvements done, without the headache.

Mindset Is Everything

Sometimes as a mom, you feel like you have to do it all right that second, but this is far from true. To be honest, the biggest thing that you can do for yourself is to shift your overall mindset when it comes to getting things done. Mindset and perspective are everything, friends.

I’d love to know what your solutions are for time management! Let me know in the comments!

xoxo, C
