Vegan Eats : True Food Kitchen

True Food Kitchen is absolutely one of my favorite places to eat and I was so excited to hear that they were opening up another location much closer to our house!

They always use ingredients that are in season and their menu reflects it! They have an amazing variety of dishes and are very accommodating when it comes to gluten free and vegan options. It’s obvious that every ingredient matters in everything that they make.

We love starting with the Seasonal Vegetable Crudités plate and our 4 year old and 2 year old will devour that whole thing! The dipping sauces that come with it are not vegan, but you can substitute them for their sauces that are vegan! We like the pesto and hummus but you can always ask if they have anything different for dipping.

Their Charred Cauliflower is so good and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts were a little crispy and cooked perfectly.

The Unbeetable Burger sounded interesting at first and it really surprised us! We enjoyed it very much and it’s now become a staple. And that side of Kale salad was my JAM!

Jonah tried the Seasonal Ingredient salad and he absolutely loved it. It has lots of flavor and a good crunch!

The girls each had a bowl of VEGAN vanilla ice cream and it made us happy to have a place to take them where they can enjoy a small dessert as an every once in a while treat!

Last but not least, my favorite dessert in the universe…. The Squash Pie. It’s a seasonal dessert and every fall since we’ve lived in Atlanta, I need to get this pie! If you get anything out of this blog…. just try that pie! And yes, it’s VEGAN and gluten free!

Have you gone to True Food Kitchen?? What’s your favorite thing on the menu?
