Hello internet friends! Today I wanted to share with you some of the makeup products I’ve been loving so far this summer!
I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, but I do usually try to look awake by using makeup (sometimes it works and other times I just don’t know 🙂 ), so here is what I use!
First off, I start with moisturizing my face. I have super dry skin and in the summer time, I like to hydrate! Right now I’m using the Honest Beauty Beyond Protected Daily Fluid with 30 SPF, and I’m loving it! It gives great hydration and the ingredients are all plant based and natural! It’s a win/win for me! I usually let my skin breathe and not wear any foundation, so this moisturizer makes me feel hydrated throughout the day.
PS if I’m looking for a little bit of coverage I typically will use the Honest Beauty Tinted Moisturizer in the color Nectar. It has AMAZING coverage for being a tinted moisturizer! I apply it with a damp beauty blender, which I find really blends it out nicely.
Next I’ll conceal under my eyes with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the color Custard. I like this concealer because it’s creamy without being cakey, it gives great coverage and is buildable.
Eyebrows, of course, are always Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the color Taupe. I’ve been trying lots of other brow products but I keep coming back to this one. The formula is great, the pencil has just the right amount of point to it so I’m not overfilling and lookin’ crazy. It’s definitely my favorite of all time.
Mascara (if I use it that day) lately has been the Maybelline Colossal Chaotic Lash for my top lashes and the MAC Extended Play for my bottom lashes. Love them both, but the MAC brush in this particular mascara is just amazing for the bottom lashes!
I like to give my face a little bit of a color boost with a good bronzer, and the 2 I’m loving this summer are the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer. The Chanel is a cream base and goes on smoothly with or without foundation and if you set it with the Hourglass, you’re golden.
Give your face a little spritz of the Makeup Forever Mist & Fix setting spray and you are all set!
